School Council

The school council plays an important role in life at St Christopher’s.

Representatives are elected from each form, tasked with the role of articulating the views of their peers in regular meetings. Leading the council are Year 6 girls, who apply for positions including those of chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer and eco-monitor. These are the main positions of responsibility for the older girls. Together, they discuss suggestions brought forward and decide on actions to be taken. The friendship bench, castle, carnival days and new menu options have all been the result of council discussions over the years and are now important features at St Christopher's.  They have also organised initiatives, such as a mock election and a climate demonstration. The council also arranges termly events for the whole school.
